Cleyra is a consumer iOS app for tracking isotretinoin (Accutane) treatment. It logs dosage, side effects, lab work, and progress. I built and launched it solo on April 21 and run all of product, engineering, and marketing.

Problem
  • Isotretinoin treatment is a 6+ month commitment with a moving dose curve and meaningful side effects. Existing tracking options are a notes app or nothing.
  • Reaching people early in their treatment means showing up where they already research, not paying for ads.
Approach
  • Shipped the smallest useful version: dose log, side-effect tracker, photo timeline.
  • Built a repeatable TikTok content workflow (research-backed slideshows on side effects, treatment timelines, and myth-busting) to grow distribution organically.
  • A/B tested paywall variants (single-screen layout, CTA aligned left vs. right) to lift conversion.
  • Tightened onboarding based on real drop-off data; iterated weekly.
